I Lost 60 Pounds by Doing Yoga

Lisa can trace her destructive eating pattern back towards the chronilogical age of 9. “I would starve myself for days before giving directly into over¬whelming cravings for chocolate biscuits or any other sweets that my mother had available,” she recalls. “I wasn't too particular, but afterwards, used to get angry at myself.”
It had been a vicious circle to come her completely to school. Even while, her weight fluctuated wildly. Through the chronilogical age of 26, she weighed 15st 10lb.

“Intellectually, I knew which i had a diet problem which it had been only making my entire life worse,” Lisa says. “But my thoughts and body were at absolute odds and that i couldn't encourage them to reconcile.” Until she discovered yoga.

“It looked so relaxing and simple, so ideal for my imperfect body” Lisa says. And she or he knew that she needed to get active if she desired to dim down. She had tried aerobics, however it just didn't attract her.

Yoga did more than get Lisa fit. It had results that she never expected. Her energy level soared As she became more attuned to her body, she understood the requirement for proper nourishment. She craved greens and vegetables rather than chocolate. She replaced refined sugars with brown-rice syrup. As yoga rewired my thoughts, I learned to consider better proper care of my body,” she says.

In 8 months, Lisa lost 60 pounds. Now, at 33, she's maintained her weight for 7 years without relying on the extremes of bingeing and starving that when tore her lifetime apart “And I owe everything to yoga,” she says.

Actually, she's so thankful to yoga for changing her lifetime that she qualified being an instructor to be able to share its benefits with others.
