Insulin Resistance

Hormones are complicated molecules made by the endocrine glands that manage many bodily processes and processes. Insulin, known since the 'hunger hormone', influences the quantity of body fat we store by inhibiting intake of food, increasing power expenditure and controlling the quantity of glucose (a sugar) in the blood.

Nevertheless, if an individual is considerably overweight and consumes considerable amounts of refined ('simple') carbohydrates, this may result in the problem known as insulin resistance.

An individual with insulin resistance needs to create more insulin to lower their blood sugar to normalcy levels, and thus their satiety lever isn't pushed (meaning they by no means really feel full). Insulin resistance frequently results in obesity, and both are main triggers of Kind 2 diabetes.
